These fine brass finished dials feature corner ornamentation, a silver coloured number ring and raised Arabic or Roman numerals. Dials are fitted directly to the movement with mounting plates and pins, and are slotted at the 3 o'clock position for the chime silencing/selection levers.

The lunar disc, driven by a cog on the handshaft, shows the lunar month and takes 29-1/2 days to complete a half revolution (the time it takes the moon to rise from behind one hemisphere and disappear behind the other).
