Bifano's Secure Shopping Practices help to cover you against unauthorized charges on your credit card. From our experience, we know it is an important factor to have the same confidence when you use your credit card online as you do when you order by phone. We use any information you provide to us only to serve you better and to provide you with information specific to Bifano. We do not trade or sell your personal information to anyone.
Data Encryption
To protect your credit card number and personal information, we encrypt every order. Encryption is a process by which we use software to scramble your credit card number and personal information in transit to Bifano and the credit card processing organization.
We have taken the added step of NOT storing credit card information on our web server to guard against unauthorized access. Once the transaction is completed your credit card number is automatically deleted. If our system were hacked, there would be no credit card information available. We believe the most secure way to insure the security of your credit card information is to NOT have it.

Safer Transmissions
1. Positive Identification. The Bifano Store website is registered with site identification authorities to enable your browser to confirm the Bifano Store's identity before any transmission is sent. With this technology, the identity of our site is automatically confirmed prior to the transmission of any customer information.
2. Telephone Orders.
If you are concerned only about the privacy of your credit card information, we encourage you to submit your order electronically without a credit card number and a sales representative will contact you for the payment information. If you are still uncomfortable with submitting your personal information via the Internet for any reason, please feel free to e-mail, telephone (303-648-3334) or use the fax (303-648-3334) to complete your order.

3. Data encryption.
The Bifano Store utilizes industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to allow for the encryption of personal information such as your name and address and credit card number. To check the security of your connection, look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser window after accessing the server. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending on your browser), then SSL is active and the server is secure. You can also double-check by looking at the URL line of your browser. When accessing a secure serve, the first characters of the site address will change from 'http:' to 'https:'
Some versions of browsers and some firewalls do not permit communication through secure servers. In that case, you will not be able to connect to the server and therefore will not be able to place an order through an insecure connection. If you cannot access the secure server for any reason, please print out your order form and place your order by telephone using our number 303-648-3334.
